Cub Scout Pack 1776 Mayfair Philadelphia
Philly Cub Scouts
Scout Sunday is a day that the Boy Scouts of America sets aside to recognize the contributions of young people and adults in Scouting. It is a day that all of our scouting units come together and represent our units, and scouting, to the congregation of Saints United Lutheran Church. As our chartered organization, it allows the congregation to see that the program which they support is alive and flourishing. All units, the pack, the troops, and the crew will be in attendance.
Immediately following service we are hosting a pancake breakfast/brunch for the congregation as well as the scouts who attended, along with their immediate family members, as a way of saying thank you for all of their support. This will give an opportunity for the congregation to meet some of the scouts, scout families, as well as a way for the scout units to thank the congregation for their support over the years.
Finally, Pack 1776 will be holding a pack meeting after the pancake breakfast where we will hold a bobcat ceremony for those who recently joined as well as award the scouts what they have recently earned.
All scouts should arrive by 9:15 AMin uniform. New scouts that have not yet obtained their uniform should dress in something nice.
