Zoo Architects Workshop at The Philadelphia Zoo

Join us for special workshop days at the Zoo! Explore the Zoo and work towards Adventure and Badge requirements. Live animal encounters, special experiences, chats with wildlife experts, and a Zoo-wide scavenger hunt all await!
All Cub Scouts attending a workshop will earn a commemorative Zoo Scout Patch.

Zoo Architects

Cub Scouts will explore how we build amazing animal habitats at the Philadelphia Zoo in this STEM-based program. Learn about the zoology, physics, engineering, and art that goes into building homes for our animals and how scouts can become the engineers of the future. This program prominently features the revolutionary Zoo360 trail system which is allowing animals to explore the Zoo like never before.

This program is open to all Cub Scout ages.

• Webelos “Adventures in Science” Adventure: (2)
• Webelos “Engineer” Badge: (1, 2a, 2b, 2c)

Pricing

$15 per scout. Zoo admission is not included but can be purchased at the time of booking. Preregistration is required.
Discounted general admission tickets for the Zoo are available at the rate of $15 for scouts and their chaperones. Advanced booking is necessary to obtain the discounted group price. Call 215-243-5353 to book your visit.
