Tonight Cancelled – Updated Bowling & First Aid Info

Tonight

Due to the weather we will not be meeting tonight.  The conditions aren’t the safest therefore enjoy the evening off of scouts.

Bowling

Tonight was intended to be the deadline for signups and payment for bowling next week.  The weather put a damper in this plan.

If you are not already signed up, we will need to hear from you by email with a headcount. So please send an email to signups , with an exact number of how many will be attending, by 6:oo pm EST 2/4/2014.  We will be unable to add people after this date as we need to submit a head count for lane reservations.

For those who have not yet paid, please plan on paying us at the bowling alley. We need to pay all in one lump sum, so we must have your payment then and there. The cost is $11 per person.

Alternatively, if anyone is signed up and has changed their mind please let us know so that we can remove you from the list.

First Aid and CPR/AED Training

We will extend sign ups and payment for this training until Monday February 17th.  The course is free to all Webelos scouts as it will help them meet most of the requirements for the Readyman Activity Badge.  In order to certify in First Aid and CPR/AED there is a $20 processing fee.

All Parents, regardless of your scout’s level, are welcome to take this course and get certified as you can never have enough first aid/cpr/aed trained people at a scouting event.  If your job requires this training, certification is normally around $75 every 2 years. Even if you have a year left on your current certification for $20 you get an extra year.

All leaders within the pack are strongly encouraged to take the course and get certified. The Boy Scouts and Leaders of Troop 155 are also welcome to take the course and earn certification.
