Fall Fest Tomorrow

We have great numbers for tomorrow fall fest, it will be a great time and we look forward to seeing everyone there.

Be sure that your scout is prepared, dressed in layers, so he can remove outer layers as the day progresses.  A comfortable scout is a happy scout.  The day will start out pretty cool (45°) climbing to 57-58° by lunch and then peak around 2:30 at 63°.

While lunch will be provided, please be sure your scout has a water bottle and a small snack or two.  All of the activity will require ample fuel and water to keep your scout going throughout the day.  Snacks and beverages shouldn’t contain anything too sugary as that can cause your scout to burn out.

You must bring a copy of the Medical Health Form (parts A & B) for each person. This includes all siblings and adults.  Additionally, you will need a signed copy of the Grandview Hospital release form for every person under the age of 18 years old.  THIS IS MANDATORY!  (Attached Below)

We will meet just outside the parking lot. I ask that you be there by 8:00 AM so that we can register at 8:15. I have all tickets and will register us all at once. As per the event page, registration & check in begins at 8:15 AM with the opening ceremony at 8:45 AM. The Fall Fest is located at Camp Hart, part of the Musser Scout Reservation. Use the address 1125 Camp Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 to get directions to our parking lot, which is at the corner of Camp and Miller Roads. Coming from the turnpike, you will come north on Rt 63 to Upper Ridge Road. Turn Right onto Upper Ridge Road, go through the stop sign and past the Camp Delmont entrance for just over a mile. Make a right onto Miller Road, the parking lot is at the bottom of the hill on the left..

There are several routes and the ride is about an hour. The map below is directions from the Church to Camp Hart, please choose the route which works best for you.
