Webelos 1 update 12-8

Tonight, the Webelos started the Citizen Activity. Citizen and Fitness are the 2 required activities to earn the Webelos badge. The boys completed requirements 1,2,4,6,7 and 9. They partially completed 3,5, and 8. The  scouts also started the required citizenship belt loop. For homework, scouts have to list 3 people they think are good american citizens and why (Req 13). Family members who served our country are always acceptable answers! They also have to write down what the pledge of  Allegiance means to them. The boys made a list of their weekly chores. They have to put a check next to each day they do it. Next week, the boys will finish up with flag etiquette and make a poster about being a good citizen. This will complete the citizen activity and Citizenship belt loop.
