Our Camping trip to Camp Delmont, is just a couple of weeks out. It is time to start collecting headcounts and payments.
Cub Scout Pack 1776 Tent Camping
When: June 15th– June 17th
Arrival Time after 6:00 PM on Friday
Departure by 10:30 AM on Sunday
Where: Camp Delmont
Cost: $20 per person <– corrected
Includes: All meals (Saturday through Sunday breakfast), Friday & Saturday evening snack
On Saturday, we will be taking a hike through Camp Hart. This will be a great opportunity for parents to see where your scout will be staying during Resident Camp.
Headcounts and payments must be received by Wednesday June 13, 2018
We will be available for payments May 30th and June 6th from 7-8pm. We will also have a sign up sheet available at our Blue and Gold Ceremony on June 2nd. If you are interested in attending or have any questions please email dgriess@cubscoutpack1776.org
Basic Supply List:
- A pocketknife (Bears & Webelos Scouts Only must have Whittling chip card)
- A first-aid kit
- Bring extra clothing to match the weather. Multiple layers are better than a single massive jacket, because layered clothing is adaptable to a wide range of temperatures.
- Rain gear is very important. Being wet from rain may result in hypothermia, a potentially fatal condition.
- Flashlight is important for finding your way in the dark.
- Trail food is good for maintaining your energy.
- Water can prevent dehydration, heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
- Sun protection might include sunblock, sunglasses, lip balm and a wide-brimmed hat.
- Map and compass are probably the most important tools you can carry in case you get lost.
- Tent and Sleeping Bag

- Fishing gear ( Over 16 must have a license)
- Animal identification books, plant keys, geological studies, star charts or other guides
