Thank you

The Blue and Gold signifies the official end of our scouting season. I would like to thank the parents and families for coming out this afternoon, to support our scouts and make it another successful program.

I would like to congratulate the 4 scouts who crossed over into their new troops; good luck in your scouting careers and remember you will always be apart of the 1776 family.

Finally, I would like to thank our leaders and committee members for their endless time and dedication with helping guide our youth. Without your help and dedication, we would not have the unit we do.

Wishing you and your families a happy and event filled summer. Please be sure to regularly check our webpage and emails for optional summer activities.

Blue and Gold

Dear Parents,
Can you believe that the end of our scouting year is upon us? Where did the time magically go? Just a moment ago it was September and we were just starting the year and then POOF!!! It is over. We are having our end of year Blue and Gold Banquet on June 2, 2018. The doors open at 12:15 and the banquet starts at 1:00. Tickets are available. Each scout gets a ticket for themself and 2 tickets for parents. Any extra tickets are $5.00 each. Payment at the door is acceptable. Head counts are needed by May 30th. We look forward to ending the year with the same spirit that we have had all year!

Thank you!
Sincerely,
Regina Giuffre

With our scouting season coming to an end there are a few important dates to remember:

While it may not be a hot summer day, maintaining hydration, adequate energy levels and protecting your skin are the three most important things to keep in mind. EVERY Person, youth & adult, will be required to carry a filled water bottle with them as well has have some trail food with them.

It is also important to remember that you will need to carry whatever you bring with you for the entire hike, so try not to overdo it. Each scout should be able to carry his own gear and it is recommended that he/she bring a backpack to carry their stuff.
