Our first camping trip of the season, to Ockanickon Scout Reservation, is just a couple of weeks out. It is time to start collecting headcounts and payments.

Includes: All meals (Saturday through Sunday breakfast), Friday & Saturday evening snack

Headcounts and payments must be received by Monday April 23rd, 2018.
It is preferred that you email us your headcounts to signups@cubscoutpack1776.org. As well as on the sign up sheet that will be available tonight and next monday. Even if you previously told someone that you were attending, we still need you to sign up.

On Monday, April 9th, the Bears began their Pocketknife Safety training. This class is designed to teach pocketknife safety and additional rules that must be followed when using a pocketknife. Bears should immediately start reading the Bear Claws adventure which can be found on page 30 of their handbooks as well as the handouts they were given Monday night (see below).
I would like to thank everyone who came out this weekend for our 2018 Pinewood Derby. It was a huge success and it appeared that all of the scouts had a great time. I would like to thank those who volunteered their time to help run the derby and make the event the success that it was. Thank You!

Tomorrow we will have a pinewood derby workshop starting at 10:00 AM. We will be handing out the Pinewood Derby car kits along with the rules for the Pinewood Derby. Then we will go over the basics of how to turn your block of wood into a pinewood derby car as well as provide cutting services for those who need them.
